plasticine models

this week we made some models out of plasticine,As plasticine is a well known material used for animation.

I decided to make something simple but add detail to it. i made a penguin and an igloo and added a feather detail using one of the modelling tools. this is my finished model.

With the models we created we had a practice session of making a 5-10 second animation using out plasticine models. we used a hue camera which we connected to the computer and used the istopmotion programme to capture the images. we set the animation to large wide screen which captured 12 fps on footage. with my animation i created a set to the scene to re-create a snowy area for the penguin to live. although i did not finish my animation this week i managed to get the first scene recorded.
